The Challenge
He wanted lower electricity bills and a system that actually delivered what it promised. The question he asked is the one most people ask: is the generation figure on the quote a realistic estimate, or a sales number?
Key Concerns:
Would the system generate what the quote said it would?
How We Helped
We sized the array and battery around the household's own consumption rather than filling the roof, notified the installation under G98, completed the MCS certification, and set the system up on FoxESS Cloud so he could see it working from day one. Twelve months of that monitoring is where these figures come from.
Sized the system around actual household consumption, not roof area
A 3.68 kW hybrid inverter and a 10.36 kWh battery so evening use runs on stored solar
G98 notification handled with the network operator
MCS certification completed on 24 April 2025
FoxESS Cloud monitoring set up and handed over, which is what produced these figures

In Their Own Words
A very pleasant experience
Mark, the assessor is very polite, not at all 'pushy' & explained clearly the process & requirements.
The installation did not go quite as smoothly as hoped due to staffing shortages but Marcus resolved the problem & kept me informed throughout. the installation was completed with minimal disruption and no mess. I got the impression the the whole company had my best interests at heart.
All in all a very pleasant experience at a reasonable price & would recommend Solar Panels - London to anyone
